↓ Download for WindowsWindows SmartScreen will show a "Windows protected your PC" dialog the first time you run the installer. This is expected. IOnclad currently ships without an EV code-signing certificate (we'll add one once revenue justifies the cost). The installer itself is signed for the auto-updater with our minisign key.
To proceed: click "More info" in the dialog, then "Run anyway." Once installed, no future dialogs appear.
You can verify the download yourself with the SHA-256 checksum above — it matches the build artifact published from our GitHub org. The Pro license itself is signed with Ed25519 and verified offline by your local app — that signature is the real anti-tamper guarantee.
- Launch IOnclad Desktop. The free tier opens by default — you can scan any folder right away.
- To unlock Pro / Team / Business: open Settings (top-right gear icon) → License.

Paste the license key from your Polar purchase email (starts with
IONCLAD-PRO-,IONCLAD-TEAM-, orIONCLAD-BIZ-) and click Activate. - Activation completes in a few seconds. Your tier badge turns cyan and the full feature set unlocks. License checks stay offline after this: verification uses the embedded Ed25519 public key, not a license server.
IOnclad's free tier scans any folder and gives you the verdict, grade, severity counts, and every finding from 8 of the 26 scanners, with no signup required. To see every finding with file paths, line numbers, and fix guidance, you'll need Pro ($49/yr or $149 lifetime), Team (5 seats), or Business (25 seats).
